I just stumbled across this article on the guardian website. Russia is trying to ban "emos" as they believe the trend promotes social withdrawal, depression and suicide. Outrageous. Totally horrifying thought that in 2010 there are still people who think that what we wear should be controlled and there I was getting all excited about the burgeoning fashion industry in Russia - they can forget that and all the revenue it would pull in if they continue with such draconian attitudes.
