It's Raining Blossom

I totally love looking out of my window and I'm always blogging about what I see out there. The last few weeks I've been cheered by the sight of the beautiful pink blossom trees. Along with weeping willows, blossom trees are my favourite beauties of nature. As it got windy today the blossom swirled around outside my window and tried to fly in. Tiny delicate pink petals.

Ossie Clark Style Playsuit

I struggled with this one - is it a playsuit or a trouser suit or jumpsuit. It's a dress with cullotte shorts I'm sure there must be a fashiony term for this?? It's been a really tough week where I really haven't had the heart to blog but I put my smiley picture on because I'm not going to let anything keep me down. The therapy was of course of the retail variety and I raided the charity shops along camden high street. This 70s Ossie Clarkeque printed 'playsuit' cost me £6.99 from one of those revamped Oxfam stores. Love it.

Some More Slogan Tees

I love these ENC T-shirts at ASOS. Not on men though, on a man it's rude, on a girl on the other hand...so cool.

Military Notes

Signs In The Sky

Sat peacefully drinking my morning coffee a shiny red heart balloon flew up slowly right past my 3rd floor window and drifted away into the sky above my building. I ran for my camera but the battery had ran out (typical). A moment of happiness delivered by a random act. How many people saw this and felt the same as me. It was like a perfect scene from a movie. Of course in a movie I would have raced to the window and seen my true love stood down below but the balloon was enough for me. What a happy way to start the day. Maybe I should start releasing heart balloons everywhere in a hippie spread love movement.

Grace Kelly : Style Icon at the V&A

The style of Grace Kelly is being showcased at the Victoria and Albert Musuem from the 17th April to the 26th September. Hotfoot it down there for a taste of real elegance.

It's Whats On The Outside That Counts

or so says my top. This bodysuit was designed by Katy Perry for H&M in support of AIDS foundation. I like the irony. It's been awhile since I've blogged and I think you can see I'm exhausted after another hard work. TGIF people.

Prada Postcard Sunglasses

Each style represents a city. Milan, London, New York, Lisbonne, Paris and Malibu. Not being biased but the London ones are defintely the best - orange lenses and grey frame. Let's see if an optician in the family can help me to bag a pair of these limited edition lovelies.

Doncha Wish Your Boyfriend Was Dressed By Simon Spurr

Dior Homme Goes Gothic

Not exactly breaking news as the show was in Januray but the more coverage I see of Dior Hommes SS10 collection the more I love it. They are the menswear pieces that women want to own. I espcially have my eye on the sleeveless black silk shirt.

Whistles Stocks Won Hundred

Browsing in Whistles today I was tempted by many things but then I noticed the Won Hundred collection which really made me drool. Won hundred is a danish brand that do super cool mens and womenswear, the handwriting not too dissimilar to Whistles own. Unfortunately my bank balance is once again at zero so I can't indulge this month however I did go for a cheeky second look on the Whistles website once I got home but I can't find Won Hundred on there. Please add it. Also your slidey homepage is giving me motion sickness.

Moschino Heart Bag

I spotted this in the window of Moschino today. Beautiful.

ASOS Launches On Zozo

You can be forgiven for never having heard of Zozo, I certainly hadn't, but as ever the Japenese are leading the way with an insight into what the retail world will become. Zozo is a virtual town made up of all the big fashion stores in Japan. So you can walk around town from the comfort of your living room and go to all your favourite shops adding things to your basket as you go along.
I love shopping because I like to touch silk and smell leather and I like to try things on. However if I had the option of not facing the scrum at Oxford Street but being able to buy stuff from H&M, Topshop and Zara and only pay one P+P I would happily spare myself the stress, travel costs and lost hours queueing in shops. How long until this comes to the UK? Well ASOS, who have launched on Zozo in Japan, are doing a pretty good job themselves stocking so many of the high street brands as well as the designer brands so I guess it won't be long until it turns into a virtual shopping mall.

ASOS Press Day AW10 And The Unveiling Of ASOS Black For Men

I will post some pics next week but just wanted to say how amazing the ASOS AW10 press day was (1 week before Topshops, don't you know we are the fashion leaders!). Most excited by - well all the gorgeous womenswear stuff I'm going to buy if I' honest - but no most exciting is the launch of ASOS Black for menswear. Incredible. The kind of stuff you're going to make your boyfriend buy just so you can steal it. And because he'll look like a hottie wearing it. Love it, well done guys.

Site Crash On The Ounet First Birthday Sale

After duly signing up for the Outnets everything for £1 sale in celebration of it's 1 year birthday I was EXTREMELY disappointed. The time of sale was to be kept secret but Outnet asked you to upload all your details for speed of checkout and 'so not to miss out'. Of course my friends and I duly did so. At 7.24am this morning they sent an email to say the sale had launched, at 7.25am after having logged in their site crashed. I had already anticipated that Outnet would need to make sure they could handle the colume of traffic that their £1 first come first served sale would lead to, it seemed Outnet had not. They then announced that the sale had sold out within 6 minutes which is quite frankly a lie as within 1 minute from receiving their email from I was on the site and it crashed so who are the 1000s of people that managed to buy things in this sale Outnet? Biggest PR and customer relations disater I've ever seen...but at least you have all our details now so I'm guessing you don't care?

Silky Shades

This week has been a hard one, so today's outfit was another what can I throw on in 10 minutes and still look smart? My theory is; if you haven't had time to wash your hair and you look like shit wear something smart and it will totally detract from your messiness. I wore this gorgeous silk dress I bought from TKMaxx, especially love the raw edges cut with pinking sheers. Topped off with the summer favourite a Chloe inspired cream silk blazer by Zara last summer. Wardrobe staple.

A Chanel/Alexa Look

I got dressed in the dark this morning. In a panic. I decided I deserved a lie in and a lie in stretched to potentially being late for work so I jumped up tied my hair up and grabbed a medley of clothes. Personally I thought there was too much going on - spotty tights, cream and black ruffle blouse with navy sparkly Chanel look jacket (actually M&S) but other people seemed to like it so maybe I should get dressed in the dark more often. I like to think the satchel bag teamed with my 'Chanel' tweed jacket brought a bit of Alexa Chung style.

Preppy Pink Shirt and Brogues

I got this shirt in the Uniqlo sale for a tenner, I haven't worn it that much so far but now I have my brogues it's the perfect accompaniment for that preppy masculine look. Offset by the pink of course. The brogues are from my favourite vintage store in Paris, Killiwatch. I wore them with my multicoloured mens socks from ASOS.com, bright socks are a must with brogues say I. The jeans are once again my new best ever fit Zara skinnies. I've finally joined the denim revolution.

Studded Sneakers

I've come over all American but the alliteration of 'Studded Sneakers' fit better than trainers. Anyway I digress from my point which is...If I'm going to wear trainers, then they should look like this. Christian Louboutin and Pharell Williams creation. How much, where can I get them, can I have them now???

Sex And The City 2 Trailer

It's time. Check out Samantha's spiked shoulder pads. I can barely wait.

Australia by Baz Luhrmann

With Moulin Rouge as my all time favourite film I have been wanting to watch Australia for awhile. I wish I had got round to it sooner. An amazing film with the same Baz Luhrmann magic experienced in Romeo and Juliet and Moulin Rouge. As always the clothes are quite important to me and Australia did not let me down. With 1940s 'Dior', cowboy, safari and army girl this film feels like it was made for this season.

My Lust List This Week

I'm not normally a jewellery kind of girl preferring to spend all my money on clothes instead. However if I had the budget for both then I would just love to invest in some of the amazing pieces we have on site at ASOS.com right now.
